China will widely use DNA technology to fight against children trafficking. All public security organs are ongoing works such as blood sample taking to construct the largest information platform for children trafficking in the world. “National Information System for Finding Trafficked and Missing Children" And "National DNA Database for Finding Trafficked and Missing Children" have initiated in May of this year.

On the occasion of international children's day, MPS said, since the launch of national wide fighting against women and children trafficking on April 9, 447 trafficked children have been rescued till May 25. 8 were identified with the help of DNA data.

236 DNA laboratories of Chinese public security organs have starting network running .Until May 25th, the public security organs of China have sampling more than 200 copies of DNA data.

Chinese police has been asked to take blood samples of five types of people, including two types of parents and three types of children, which must be type into the national DNA database. Those five are: the natural parents of the trafficked children, the natural parents of missing children who are asking to take blood sample, the rescued trafficked children, children of unknown origin or suspected of being trafficked, and stray and begging children of unknown origin.

42 public security forensic centers which distributed in all provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions take the DNA testing task. They are asked to perform at various processes such as case reporting, finding, investigation and blood taking, testing, matching. All those are totally free.

The phenomenon of children trafficking has became more serious since 80s last century. Suspects always use toys and candies to win the trust of children, or get the trust of trafficked children's parents in the rental house, some even using force.  This hideous trafficking act smashed thousands families in china.
