More than 300 middle school students in Lixian County, one of the Wenchuan earthquake-effected areas in northwest China's Gansu Province, and volunteers from Yangzhou University in eastern China's Jiangsu Province paint a big national flag with their hands on July 6, 2009. The 5.6-meter-long and 3.2-meter-wide flag is their special gift for the upcoming 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic.
