Is it daydreaming to keep the traffic in order without the traffic lights?
The ordinary people could hardly imagine the crossings without traffic lights, after getting accustomed to the rule of “stopping in red light and moving in green light.” However, recently, many people were astounded by the courageous trial at the crossing of a busy road in Shanghai. After the intermittent cancel of traffic lights, the passers-by and the vehicles give way to each other cautiously. The traffic was improved a lot rather than become worse. This is not the only case: many countries in Europe began to stop the traffic lights on the streets. Nevertheless, does this mean that China will put an end to the adoption of traffic light for ever? Is it daydreaming to keep the traffic in order without the numerous traffic lights all over China?
